This is the page I've decided to dedicate to stories about our family's many pets, articles about interesting pets, and the occasional funny pet video. Keep in mind that the videos are from Youtube, so I am not responsible for any advertisements on the videos.
My Family's Pets
My family owns and takes care of pets of many kinds: we have a cat, a dog, and two rats. Our cat's name is Chucha, and he is very old but very sweet. He is 17 years old, so he is basically like an old little man in cat years. His interests include washing himself on people's pillows, asking us to open the door for him so many times that it driver my mom nuts, and sleeping in my closet and on my mom's white chair. His fur is sort of a black-gray tabby color, with a lightly colored and sghlightly white underbelly. Unfortunately, Chucha has started getting arthritis in his back paws, so he needs help getting on and off beds and couches.
Our dog's name is Lotta, and she is about three years old, but she is as playfull as a puppy. She is a French Shepherd, and she is black with splashes of brown on her snout, underbelly, ears tail, and paws. She is very hyper most of the time, and when she is let out into the backyard she looks like a sausage on long legs rocketing through our backyard. Lotta's favorite things to do are bark at everything, run around the backyard, eat mushrooms (in the fall), and try to raid the big box of Milk Bones we keep for her.
We have two rats, Kysa and Laura. Kysa is the eldest, being about two years old. She looks like a white rat wearing a big black cape, and is very chubby. She is getting old, so her fur has started to grow thinner around areas like her nose and ears. Kysa really enjoys getting rides on my dad's shoulders around the house.
Laura is chubby, but not to the extent of Kysa's chubbyness. She is only one year old, and she is a lot more energetic than Kysa. Laura is white with two gray splotches: one on the right side of her face, and one on her back. Laura really likes climbing, and she'll always climb to the top of her cage when somebody comes in the room. She also adored toilet paper/tissues, because she uses them to make a comfy nest in her hut, and they can be used to hide food.
